I saw a pretty nice Nova going down the road today, a red SS, 64 I think, appeared to have been chopped, did not help the looks a bit, stock they have such nice lines.

Can't get over how hot the Nova and Chevy ll market has become. Doubt there's anything hotter at this time. Seems everyone is looking for one. Me included.

I have a 66 hardtop and a 66 wagon. Constantly asked if the hardtop is for sale. The wagon hasn't made it's debut yet. It should be out of upholstery by years end. And no.......neither is for sale.

    Very true Gary.
Bought our 67 in 1983 for a grand and drove it home (still have it), a grand will get you a pair of doors and a hood today.
GM must have stopped making replacement parts for Chevy 11's/Novas long before Chevelles, Impalas, etc. Novas also were the last for the aftermarket to tool up for reproduction parts.
I collected a lot of NOS stuff over the years chasing around the NW swap meets and every single part that I thought I was getting raped on I'd gladly pay double today as most of the good stuff has evaporated, best to buy nice finished examples nowadays.
Sure wish the second gen. Novas were HAMB worthy.

The day I drove ours home in 1983 I stopped at the local Chevy dealer parts department for something and when I came out there was a note under the windshield wiper blade asking if the car might be for sale.

I had a 64 wagon with the Fawn Tan color and loved it. Let my brother-in-law talk me out of it for his wife to have a car to drive.

I would really like to have my '64 back, the only car my wife and I built from stock to Modified.

I tried calling my 67 a 65 here on the HAMB but that didn't fly!

What if my 66 2dr 100 was built in Oct. 65?

  22. won't work. Cutoff is 64 unless it looks like a 64. Like a 64-5 Chevelle look the same or 64-5 Chevy II

I always thought it was 1965 and back to be HAMB kosher.
Hmm, wonder if I should call mine a 64!

  27. Beautiful car! I've been saving convertible parts from a '63 for decades to transplant to a '66-'67. Just haven't ever found a suitable donor, or the time. Nice job!
