History Old photo great uncles 28 rpu

Photo was taken in Cudahy, California Uncle Ted in the drivers seat, my mother and uncle in the passenger seat. 28 roadster pick up. I find photos of this shot on the net from time to time and it makes me smile. I never saw this car being too young, but have many copies of shots of it. It supposedly had a 40 v8, 39 top loader and a Dago axle. He and his brother Wayne were two the people who got my into cars. As a child visiting them in California having grown up in Texas and seeing there cars blew my mind.
