Long time reader first time poster

Help! I have a 283 with a 153 tooth flexplate, when trying to install new starter bolt holes not lining up. Holes on block are 3" centered and all the starters I have tried are 3 1/4" centered. Any suggestions welcomed. thanks..

Thanks for the info, found a flexplate from Speedway Motors that has bolt pattern for both the small and large torque converters.
