Well this went wildly off topic with another car in here.

Oh well, I'll continue the updates now.

The Fleetline was sold and I messed around and did some other cars/bikes bs.

    Back to the main story.

I decided the rust was too much on the '49, said screw it and started hunting for a new body.

Came across this one about an hour a half from me. Price was right so I grabbed it.

I then started on swapping the bodies around. Super sketchy, would not recommend.

Then I rolled the frames around and slapped the old one under the new body.

After all the super sketch juggling, and the body almost falling off 10 times, I got the body on the frame.

I painted my dash, jams and firewall. Also picked up some '56 wheels and had them blasted then I painted them.

    Then I rehung my doors.

So after I finished running the wiring and installing the deadener, I started on the paint.

I did the paint in 3 layers.

After I got that done, I took the car for interior.

This turned into a huge ordeal lasting 3 months and ended up with me taking my car back.

This was as far as he got in 3 months

Picked my car back up, seriously pissed. I lost motivation for a few months on the car because of this.

When I finally got the motivation to work on it again, I got started on installing the front fender aprons.

    I also installed my gauges.

And started adding my chrome BS onto my engine.

Finally installed the aprons. Still needed to remove all that tape(bad idea, pain in the ass to remove)

In AZ, it's hard not to sweat about anything!

I got the car fired up and it sounds great. Working on the exhaust routing now and some minor leaks.
