I always thought these scoops blended in so nice with the body lines . Surprised no one added these.

So I finally got around to cutting away everything that wasn't a scoop on this hood.



And I ended up with this.
Personally, I think this scoop fits great and suits the car. It looks like a factory concept car from the time, which is kind of what I'm shooting for here. Feel free to critique it.

If for some reason I'm not happy with it, I still have another stock hood I can use instead.

 

Looks great! Reminiscent of '52-'54 Mercury but different.
I like the beveled sides and the rolled front edge of what you have, especially with the little peak.

The Wagoneer hood looks great! I was ready to hate it, but it really works on there, looks just like your avatar picture.

 

This might not be everyone's cup of tea but it shure sings too me
All sorts of custom touches even tho this was made in the mid eighties
