Event Coverage 2018 Ty-rods car show in New England - pictures!

Figured some of you may like ogling some of these beauties, and you can see my picture rocking my new H.A.M.B. hat; that’s the 27 Phaeton that my father in law built. There was a fellow H.A.M.B. member there who recognized his car from one of my posts.

Thanks for asking; as good as it can be when you have Alzheimer’s. His mind is scrambled but he’s always in good spirits and my wife takes him out often to Providence to walk around town and he talks to everyone he sees.

Unreal show, wow, thanks for your pic's. I was really enjoying the video when it disappeared also. Great cars, all. One comment. You'll notice I'm on the west coast, (Washington), but I will swear on a hundred Motors manuals I saw all those very same grey beards here at the last big show around these parts. Pretty funny how all us wiser, (could say old but won't), "car guys" all look alike weather it is here, there or down in Mesa, Az. Thanks ZZ29

 

Is there a thread dedicated to the Bannister Roadster? Was it the first EAST COAST car to run SCTA events? Bob

I jsut saw this thread for the first time. Recognized your FILs tub right away. Saw it a few times while he was building it. He is one of the best fabricators I've ever seen. True talent and a true hot rodder from way back.
Take good care of that timepiece! What happened to his roadster? That was another amazing car.

Thanks for your wonderful pictures. I wasn't able to be there this year so the pictures were a great substitute. Nice that you're using Russell's cars. Does he get rides? HFH.

 

My wife picked him up once in this car and they went to Providence. He sees the car and likes it but seems anxious something is going to happen to it. Second time she went to get him in the car didn’t go too well, I think he got agitated.
