I made some armrests for my '48 and thought I'd share. 021.jpg 039.jpg

Thanks, I'm slowly going to try to do the whole interior myself. I remember my mom and dad putting a headliner in it when I was a young man but this is my first try at sewing since I made an apron in a 9th grade home economics class I took so I could be around more girls and eat. Two of my favorite things then and now.

Thanks you all. I'll post more as I get the pieces done. It'll be low budget and a good learning experience too. I'm in my 50's and still learning most likely because my dad told me "never stop learning".

Fine job. Those are tough to do huh?
I recently done my interior, same thoughts as you, teach yourself. If it turns out not so perfect, oh well, is the way I look at it. Better than ragged out original.
    Looks good enough to me.

Thanks. Yes they were tough. I tried my hand at doing your style with the angled seam on the interior side but had some bunching problems that I didn't like so I went my way and was able to control the bunching. Yeah mine aren't perfect by no means but like you said better than ragged out original. Although in my case my car did not have the armrests as it is a Deluxe instead of a Special Deluxe, so I looked at some pictures on the internet of the Special Deluxe ones and made mine a similar shape but not the same material.
