  1. He hasn't been back since he posted all of the cry baby stuff. No longer a worry if he ever gets it running.

  2. After 50 rebuilds, you would think that he would know someone local to help him out. (Unless he has driven them all away)!

This is a good question, nobody responded to. I can't tell you because I've never checked it, but I've cranked over plenty of SBC's by hand, and it doesn't seem like 126 ft/lb's is really that great, doesn't it normally take that much grunt to turn one over with the plugs in? Somebody put a wrench on one and find out.

I have a 350 on the stand right now. It takes about 30 ft lbs to turn it until a cylinder comes up on compression...then the torque climbs to about 70 ft lbs. as it comes to TDC. Feels like a several hundred others I've built.

This wouldn't explain the fact that it turns easily with no plugs in, and skyrockets to 126lb/ft with plugs in.

Based on the news from that part of Wisconsin I'd say he has bigger issues right now.

Bar's still open there at 7 am ? I used to live in Neenah .Wis. got off work from making Kool-Aid wrappers and could stop and have beer and Brats for breakfast on the way home. Loved it there.

I believe this thread has outlived it's usefulness. If it ever had any.

  25. there is a diner around here that has a sign "breakfast served all day" .so that leads to the question; when is breakfast actually not supper or dinner?

I prefer biscuits and gravy with a draft for breakfast....but it's a southern thing.
Oh and grits with lots of salt, pepper and butter and a draft.
Or shrimp and grits and draft.....
