Nope, not for me - just some idiot street racer.

Full disclosure: I WAS that idiot in my teen aged years. But not with such a nice hot rod.

No more guaranteed way to bring the heat down on everybody in town with a fast car,not just hot rods, than racing on a residential street.
I’ve been guilty of leaving a pair of black stripes out in front of a buddy’s place when I left from time to time, but two cars actually lining up and blasting off on a residential street in broad daylight is just dumb.
All you need is that one crusty old neighbour to call the local Cops and demand a crackdown,or go to a council meeting and make a fuss......or worse, for you to run over some kid chasing his ball out in the road in front of you.
Why do you think all the real street racers have locations scoped out in industrial areas for use at 2:00am?
So they avoid danger, and don’t piss off the civilians!

    Scott

    Nice car.

That's the way to do it.
Although I prefer a real roll cage, but I'm not going to get picky on that. At least all you are going to hurt is yourself.

Unfortunately no, that is the Dorman/Koopman roadster out of Michigan; it was just recently restored/cloned by Rich Conklin of Radir wheels.
