  1. Nice! I agree, 327 valve covers are the best. Enjoy!

I saw pictures of that coupe from the Lonestar Roundup and was wondering about it. You don’t see a survivor like that very often. It definitely went to the right person and it sure has The Look. It’s obvious that you are very passionate about it and have put in your time studying these cars and the era. I would like to know how you found it and where.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I bought it on eBay...That was a slow, nerve wrecking 7 day auction for me, haha...but I got it. I hooked the trailer up and left the same night the auction ended and drove about 2500 miles straight through (ok, a couple naps at rest areas/truck stops, ha). It was in Baltimore, Maryland.

    Someone say 327:D
I like the 283 style that were available on some mid 60's hiperf 327's, the factory chrome wasn't the best, but they have the period look.
By the way, your custom work on the Edelbrock valve covers looks extremely nice, I bet the cleanup wasn't pretty though when you were done.
You'll never see another pair like them!

Finally saw it parked and gave it a good once over and thought boy would I love to own this. If I would have meet you I’d have asked you to sell it to me. Love your passion and you know we’re all just care takers of these pieces of hot rodding history. Hope your coupe always remains as it is now.
We had brought a new build 32 five window coupe to the lone star this year that my buddy had commissioned Bobby Hilton to build from an original body. Would have loved to photo those two together. Sort of old build/new build. I’ve sort of taken on a piece of rodding history that was in our shop and stored away. Decided to bring it out next year and will probably take it to the lone star and the chopped coupe and maybe we get these 3 five windows together for a photo shoot
Let me know would love to meet you John Edge 813-245-0444

Baltimore???? Is this the same red coupe that was on here a year or two ago, linked to a newspaper article, of a red 32 found in the backyard of an old "row" house, buried under eight foot tall grass?

Thanks for the nice words. I remember that coupe as well. I'd love to check out your piece of history as well...and, as you might guess from the video, I'm all for good photo ops!

Standard32, Pleased to see you have withdrawn your classified of the coupe, and hopefully it was a weak passing moment. Also sorry you had to deal with all the idiots pestering you.

  22. I sold Kenny a 32 frame about 4 years ago and LA stands for Louisiana, his home state. Nice job Kenny on the video of your hot rod.Even though I have a Henry 32 cabriolet hot rod,I miss my old 32 five window that I had when I was 32 years old;about 38 years ago. I have owned over a hundred vehicles, but that five window was my favorite. Flatheads Forever!
