Does any one have photos of Mark's 55, during the interim of his ownership? It would be cool to see the 40 buck, 1972 version, compared to his 1982 mild custom version! Mark Moriarity?

From '76 to '82 the chevy must have evolved from a street gasser into a mild custom!

yes, It was white, no front bumper or lower pans. 15x3 and 15x7 centerlines, solid lifter 283 with 4 speed and 4.56's in about 80-82. I attended the Kkoa show in Desmoines in a buddies 50 merc and got bit hard by the custom bug and was back at the Desmoines Kkoa show in 84 with the car in the black mild custom version......I sold the car in 98-99 and lost track of it

Mark is such a swell guy ,very generous with his time to show and share his mind blowing collection . You view his collection and it puts your mind in a spin , trying to take it all in , then you try to think back as to what you saw and more probably what you overlooked.
Mark has a very special ability to find cool stuff and display it correctly .
Its a shame the MSRA does not appreciate his one off builds as much as we do.

Thanks man, half the fun of collecting this stuff is showing to the people that "get it"

I have, on occasion, messaged Moriarity for some questions. He did share with me pictures of his cars and bikes and was very helpful and kind to me. A genuinely nice guy.

But I still am pissed that he has a better garage than me. :D:)

I've always wanted to stop by your place Mark but the planets never fully aligned. I'll have to make it a point to visit next time I'm in MN. I love all the display cases of model cars and trinkets and stuff... I haven't been collecting long enough obviously!

  15. great article and such an amazing collection. Miss Elegance will always be one of my all time favorite customs. Love the collection of Lee lenses. Wish more of my generation and younger would see how cool all this stuff is.

Kinda funny and everyone is going to think this is weird but, I had my house built in 2003 and I have yet to use the kitchen... not even the refrigerator. Yes you read that right
