Can’t wait for the Tudor thread!
I’ll be ok with the tub on moth balls just not let go of. I know it’s in good hands as long as you keep it tucked away.

Of all the sedans I've had my favorite chop was a 3.5 inch cut in front wedged to a 3 inch at the rear. It was conservative enough to make leaning the posts easy but still had the look. Car is owned today by Scott Loranzini in Ca. Yours looks like a really nice start to a great project. Good Luck.

Nice find on the sedan. It looks in really good shape. I like Phaetons also but I can see your point with the inclement weather in MT. I have started a chassis with a little more modern equipment. Dale's Aussie body looks like I want mine to look. I gave up on finding a 33 phaeton that I built a chassis for.

If I'm,not mistaken, that's Judy Watson's sedan built by Rolling Bones. Could always call them for details

Here is one I have always liked. Chopped 3 1/2" for the look.

Brandon, here are some photos Dale Grau sent me from Columbus. This is the old Gearhead Bill/Jim Smith Phaeton that has been redone. I fell in love again.

This weekend Tucker was taking the tub for a drive. I think his imagination was going wild! Shifting gears, adjusting the mirror... IMG_5913.JPG IMG_5914.JPG

Ruining the restoration hobby one car at a time. Ruining the next generation one child or grand child at a time. Nicely done.

  21. Nice. I always love your work, your family, and your eye for cool. Hoping you were able to hang on to the tub .... but as always, life goes on .... and I hope whatever you do, you do it with a smile. God bless, man.
