    I wanted to see some of these bigger also and since I went to the work of searching the web for them here they are:
    The page I found this one on claims it's a 1928 Duesenberg Model J, if it is it's a highly modified one, somebody here will know.

    Here is my theory, not fact but supposition: Looks to me like a salvage auto auction, I've been to many of these so I'm assuming it's on a lot of a tow company. Looks like a hose attached to that pole. I wonder if it's not a counterbalanced air hose strategically positioned in the lot for ease of use?

    Pretty much the everyday ''street scene'' when I was a teen........................Chevy and Ford pickups, Impala, Chevelle, Nova, British sport car................thanks Loudbang.....
