  1. When I joined the Hamb I had two hot rods.

The 4 door went to Japan & the roadster went to Missouri.

Then I built the '32 pickup.

    upload_2018-8-16_11-23-53.jpeg

    It ended up in Texas.

Then I bought the '32 five window.

    upload_2018-8-16_11-25-53.jpeg

And it ended up back in Alabama with a Hamb member & original builder.

I then purchased a '32 sedan from a friend who hada stroke and could no longer drive.

    upload_2018-8-16_11-28-49.jpeg

I traded this car to a fellow Texas member hamber for his 4 door hiboy.

    upload_2018-8-16_11-31-20.jpeg

I traded the 4 door to a fellow club member in Knoxville,Tennessee for another 5 window coupe.

This one also went to a fellow Hamber and now resides in Cherokee, North Carolina. HRP

  2. That is an impressive string of cars.
Do you get bored with a car quickly?
It seems you sell a deuce to buy a deuce.
What was wrong with the first deuce?
To me they are all really nice.
    Lucky you!

SO I WILL PASS ON PHOTOS

  11. All this transpire over the last 15 years.

I wouldn't say I get bored, the first deuce I owned for about 13 years and sold it to get the deuce in my avatar back that I had built several years prier to the 4 door sedan.

I sold the roadster because I thought I wanted a coupe, that was not a wise decision. but a fellow member questioned me about the coupe and when we discovered it was his old coupe I let him have it back.

I then built the 32 pickup and I had no intention of ever selling it but the right roadster was about to come up for sell and I didn't have any ready cash and I sold the truck in a weak moment, and the deal with the roadster fell through.this one I really miss.

I purchased the red sedan from a friend that had a stroke and needed some cash,I really didn't need it but he needed the money and I planned on selling it after I got it running, I got offers of all kinds of cars but traded for the 4 door hiboy, I had the hiboy for about a year or so and traded for thee hiboy coupe.

I really liked the car but I wanted to build a flathead V8. 5 speed/ quick change and when pen was put to paper I just didn't have the funds to do it,so I sold it to someone who could.

I'm in the process of building a new car, and it's not a 32 Ford, just time to build a car I have wanted since I was a kid. HRP

  12. You certainly are fortunate for having all those 32's.
Ever since I was a kid, when I heard the phrase "Hot Rod", Milners deuce coupe pops into my head.
    I've always wanted one!
I have been watching your shoebox thread with interest as I have a 50 coupe that I am starting on this winter.
It's the only coupe I can afford other that my o/t 69 Falcon Sport Coupe.
32-34 coupes are a rare & expensive thing up here north of the 49th.
Is there like an over abundance of cool old cars down there?

Here's me in 1957. 265 sbc, 3 97s, dual point distributor, Buick trans, dropped axle, primed with a vacuum cleaner. C/A at the drags. On the streets of northern NJ in late 1950s. And still playing with rods in my retirement. Now in my 80s. FB_IMG_1534512863923.jpg

Not a hot rod or custom, but a restoration of a 1932 Hupmobile model F222 straight 8.

  17. Just daily transportation. :D

That old truck tipped @ 4,000 pounds. If I ever overcome this summer's hospital bill and can find time to get into the shop that motor is going into my 1500 lb Crosley. :D

  20. Yep. I may do a cam upgrade to see if I can squeeze a little more juice out of it. :D

That motor is like a Timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. I think that the Crosley will be like body number 6.
