Found this in a box of stuff. It has a diode looking thing inside. I believe it to be from a early Lincoln my ex-brother in-law was working on. Anyone have a clue to what it is?
Possibly a air vent with temp sensor from a car with climate control? My 69 Lincoln had one in its Center vent that looked similar Could it be an autotronic eye?
From what I can remember he was working on the Lincoln limo and said it was the last factory built one
there's a part number on the housing, what is it? dont look like a Ford number, and don't look like a Ford electrical connector, either
if it was from a limo, it could be a rear vent. some of the cars had an a.c/heat unit in the trunk just for the rear. could be after market installed by the company that stretched the car.
look up mid 60s GM cars with climate control, they had a sensor with a pair green wires with a Packard 56 connector on the end.... certainly an odd part, and not very hot rod related.
