Presently I am workin on a fenton two deuce for it. I have tried to get an EDGY head for it but they never seem to respond to my emails. Are they around any more or what?
    Justin[/QUOTE]

Yes,the Montana Dodge Boys are still open, but the delivery of the heads have been delayed due to their racing schedule and foundry delays. These are the guys trying to get into the 200 MPH Bonneville Club with a 29 Dodge roadster.

My best suggestion is to keep trying with the emails and put "Edgy Heads" in the top box to identify the purpose of the email. I bought one of the 23 inch heads and one of the 25 inch heads with matching serial numbers, and am still waiting for them to be delivered. They aren't going to ship them until the casting and heat treating problems are solved, and I heartily approve of that.
Since it costs nothing to send them an email occasionally, keep doing it. Chances are they will have them in production before you can find a good used one to buy.

BTW,I am looking for cast iron Fenton or Hedman Headers for the 23 inch and 25 inch engines,as well as for a 226 cubic inch flat 6 Ford.. Any and all leads will be appreciated.

  8. <------- PB Sport Roadster I built to her second* Hot Rod iteration about 30 years ago, using +/- 90% of early '50s period correct Chrysler Corporation components and parts.
Rest of the components or parts all pretty much period correct aftermarket items.
All still going strong with 30K+ miles (and counting) on her.

*First(?) hot rodded/modified around '51-'52 in full fenders/bumpers/running boards, etc form and likely used a flathead Ford V8 along with few other period "custom" updates/-grades, including diamond tucked dark green vinyl and fake leopard skin fabric for upholstery materials.

Hemihead, Sorry I didn't see your post earlier.
The engine is a 354, 56 New Yorker, A-727, 68 Charger rear end, front power discs, Cavalier power rack & pinion, tilt wheel and air. Now waiting to get the seats, etc. done.

I grew up in stockton, i was visiting a while back, i seen you getting gas in freeport. Really good looking car. I bought a 48 d24 coupe shortly after that. Im thinking of doing a dakota swap as well. Any advice? Or possibly a build thread?

I’m gonna go traditional hot rod, won’t be totally traditional being a Plymouth and all.

I recently acquired this well done 1948 Chrysler Saratoga from a friend near Conneaut, OH. It has a Chevy drivetrain and Camaro/Nova front mount steering. The mods are really nice and may have been done in the 1990's. Evidence shows it was in Westfield, NY, south of Buffalo around the turn of the century. I am refreshing it closely to as it was built. Does anyone recognize it and have information on the build?

I HAVE A DREAM! I may be crazy I just love the older valiant's.
I would love to have a 61-62 for the family car, original /6 ... sadly I think the push button shifter would be a issue for my wife arthritis in her thumbs/fingers ... I keep looking for something worth putting back on the road ..... I would drive the wheels off of it.

The cable to the xmsn can be re-routed / adapted to a floor shifter.
I did that to a 1957 Dodge around ‘65. The detents in the valve body were the only guide to gear selection, but it was just an in-line sequence (with no Park position, as was common on MOPAR cars back then)
Perhaps a commercial shifter would suit the need.
IIRC the Valiant used a version of the Torque-Flite

And, yes, they all have Hemi's in 'em...;) 75D4996A-2D2C-443F-BA4E-45228890F602.jpeg BC53A12A-67AA-4E34-A90B-A8F9216CF1FB.jpeg 0C8ED4EA-B6EC-4AD4-B891-EC2F77BA7D9B.jpeg A43B9125-192E-4CD4-949E-7AAE73BA4220.jpeg 73AAE330-2558-4221-9C1F-09E600BB009A.jpeg
