I ran across this fairly recent utube posting which is pretty unbelievable. The guy appears to appears have 100s of 1940s and later cars in his "collection". search for: "Desert Find of a Lifetime" I did a HAMB search and found an old thread where a few folks were aware of the place but had no details. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/off-to-arizona-via-hwy-10.747618/#post-8299932 Looks like it is next to the airport based on satellite map of Quartzsite, Arizona. https://www.google.com/maps/@33.6615213,-114.2507712,239m/data=!3m1!1e3 Anyone been there or dealt with the owner?
I've stood and looked through the fence on a Sunday, a few months ago. Lots of interesting stuff, though most of them look like spray bomb restorations. His prices seem a bit optimistic
Back in the mid '70's there were quite a few A's and T's on a lot on the north side of the 10 in Quartsite. You could only see them if you were westbound and stopped to check them out a few times. If I knew then what I know now I would've become a hoarder......
Looks like it will be the site of a auction one of these days before long. Lots of cool stuff there in probably fantastic condition due to the dry desert.
