I have a 36 coupe with aftermarket smoothie running boards, unknown manufacturer. I would like to put rubber covers on them and have seen covers made for 36. The covers I have seen say they fit stock boards only. Does anyone have any experience putting these on aftermarket boards? If so how bad or good was the fit? Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Sorry, never installed mats on after-market running boards, but I'm currently installing new, aftermarket rubber mats on my stock '36 Ford running boards. They are a bitch to put on stock ones, so I'm guessing really tough to do on smoothies. I've found you'll need a friend to help, too.
