Been in Illinois 30 years. It's in very good hands. Doesn't come out much though.

My favorite Model A pickup EVER! I remember salivating over it as a kid:DI've got a 29 roadster on Duece rails , but if I could fit my ass into a 28-29 closed cab I would so build one..

That's what we did. This truck has driven all over the country, it isn't a trailer queen. It doesn't come out much anymore but it's not just sitting.

It was finished before I was born but I've always though it was the coolest hot rod ever built. It was a great day to get to drive it. I do most of Ken's paint work and he knows my love for this truck, he showed up at my shop yesterday and told me to hop in. He apologized for messing up my day

Rare to see a Hotrod with original headlights in the early 60’s.
I see the new version has a dropped headlight bar.

  21. ...always loved Jakes' truck, as well as his other hot rods,..this one runs a close second...

Cool, That has always been a favorite of mine. I figured out a long time ago my bod wasn't going to fit in one comfortably though. I tried one that was for sale in
Texas in the mid 70's on for size and it didn't fit.
