Here's a pic from the rear. I like the '51 Merc window on here, on a chopped 52-54 the stock window is tough to reuse and Shoebox windows are kinda small, it's a really good shape for the roof. Not sure if I like the transition to the trunklid but the overall effect is really good, this is a well done car.

And unfortunately the mirrors appear to be from the same Vette!
    Dig the car tho.

A couple of shots of the Telstar in an earlier version. (8 or 9 years ago) I miss watching the transformations.

51 Hudson custom parade car said to have maybe been in a couple of movies. From the former Hostetler collection.

He seems to be fairly active on Facebook, but mostly posting digitally restyled photos. He did just post in the last couple days about moving to a new shop so maybe we'll see some progress on the Telstar, it's one of my favorite builds.

John Gimelli's current ride. Has a real Bailon feel to me.

    Lee Tiago's '57...

Can you believe this was in early 1959?
That car was barely two year old! (Looks like two years worth of work in it!)

    But wait, there's more!

THIS is how it looked in 1958!
(The second make-over was a result of a severe rear-end collision.)

BTW, the second (white) version was the work of Joe Ortiz, who also gets the credit for Jimmy Gimenez' T-Bird.

'Mo - your post from yesterday of the white '54 Chevy, in Japan, was once mine - my name for it was "La Bomba"

Heavy stuff, J.J.! The car is absolutely beautiful!
The Yokohama pics were dated 2004. Could that be true?
(It also gave the car another name. I much prefer "La Bomba"! ;))
