  6. Your post/information is incorrect.
    1. They are not copies of 392s. I own several sets.
    2. I did not say Pontiac cast the heads but, they did cast the HEMI Pontiac blocks for Mickey, I own one of them.
3"he quit racing to make them" huh? had nothing to do with it. They were designed and cast in spring 1962 well within the Pontiac racing program. Not afterwards
Please do not spread false info. thanks

  7. They are both the same car. As far as I know everything was right hand drive in Argentina, although I have not researched it. I remember when I visited the US in 1978 and went to the POCI get together in Orlando Florida, a guy turned up with a right hand drive 1929 Oakland on a trailer that was in 'barn find' condition, and supposedly had come out of Argentina. Btw do you know the origin of the word Argentina? I hadn't though about it until I read somewhere it is to do with the Latin word for silver - argentum.

  9. Take a breath man.
"he quit racing and making them" Means he stopped manufacturing them and using them to race" READ please.
He adapted the design to the FE. It was based on the CONCEPTUAL design of the Chrysler, are you suggesting he wasn't highly influenced by the Chrysler hemi.?
Which came first? OF course it wasn't an exact copy, it had to fit the Pontiac block.
So Pontiac cast Pontiac blocks, news flash there.
Jeeeez, sorry, I have read many times they were based on the 392.
And as soon as Pontiac stopped racing, he went to Ford.
    YOU misunderstood my comments.
    Why make this personal.???
