Must be a BIG Boss inline carburetor to feed a SOHC and a single one at that.

It’s a good thing that negative was flipped. If that blower drive was hooked up the way it appears in the flipped photo it would just be pushing the air through the center of the blower case and making no boost.

I'll play, this is the setup that is going on my coupe. 354 hemi hilborn 4 port converted to efi received_1768654803223992 (1).jpeg received_1768654806557325 (1).jpeg received_1878433978912740.jpeg

  12. As clean a set up as I've seen with EFI on a 4 holer. I suppose a fellow could run some dummy Hilborn nozzles and lines on the injector body to lend to the nostalgia factor. Who made the plate for the EFI rails?

Nick Smithberg of Smithberg Racing. He's 402bossman here on the HAMB. I don't want to run any dummys, I don't want to be like the guys running olds rocket valve covers on a sbc. I'm not totally trying to hide that it's efi. i just wanted a clean look.

you just don't realise how big SOHC Ford engine is until you get to see it in an engine bay. I have enough trouble changing the exhaust manifold gaskets on my wife's FE in her 63 Thunderbird

15 years ago I done that with a two port on a 4-71 on my model t I just couldn't force myself to destroy a good two port I did use an old barrel valve to attach my tps sensor to and used the nozzle ports for vacuum ports for the accessories for the car even used one of them for the idle air control motor that was remotely mounted of course it didn't perform like they do now the electronics have come along ways since then that is a real nice setup you have there

A couple of Joey Jacobson’s bored n stroked 409 in his Chevy sedan.
That’s a Ridge Runner intake for a BBC that him and the boys in the Border Bandits club cut and sectioned one night at a club meeting to fit the 409 motor.
The car will soon be competing in Southeast Gassers racing with his brother’s Cammer powered 55 Ford.

Sorry they’re not a little better quality, but cell phone pics are all I have of this one.It should run like a bear,though....it’s gonna be running near double the lift of your average sbc street hydraulic flat tappet cam!

Joe said one of their members refused to assist in cutting that intake apart, and he stood in the corner and couldn’t even watch...lol
Well,it’s for a good cause, and going on a really outstanding car.

The big ones are 1425cfm and the small ones are 875cfm. I've got one of the 1425s on a chevy tunnel ram. IMG_3100.jpg

  25. What exactly is this ? I seen it for sale earlier today for $899 in the box, all he said was the intake was a "maximizer". Screenshot_20180810-204240_Facebook.jpg Screenshot_20180810-204259_Facebook.jpg Screenshot_20180810-204316_Facebook.jpg

Looks like a modular efi intake......
You could also bolt on a set of standard Weber carbs on it......

  27. Big block Chevy, I thought it looked like Webber or Delatro (?) but that front fitting thing made it look more like injection. I googled "maximizer" and only single four intakes showed up.
One guy said it was the same as on the Munster car.

thumbnail (99).jpg Looks like something from the Inglese Comp performance group. Sounds awful light on $ for 899.00. Those setups hit the 3-4k price with no electronics. I would rather have the real webers. Jim Inglese is restoring these for me as we speak...
