Send it over. I'll put on my sunglasses and manage. I always thought it would be cool to fully a polish a 215 aluminum Olds/Buick and see what it looked like.

Either way. I like the stock look with alittle bling. More importantly than whether it has bling , is , it HAS to be clean. Or I’ll look right past the whole car.

    Chrome is my favorite color.
It reflects all the other colors.

    Shine the block....he says...how rediculous...lol
So, you caught me. Must have been peeking into the shed !
Survey says; tooo much chrome not the best; tooo much alum (shiney and/or cast is best, if kept shined !

    Great input to consider.
My take is that when it gets crush, three/four choices-I.e., re-shine it; re- place it; let it patina or paint it !
IT started out on a whim to see what an alum blk would look like ...well, shiney !
I figure to have several options, after it looks like a new dime; run it till tired is bling, sell it to someone who has proper ride for it or paint it to match my primers A !

  19. I drilled 18 evenly spaced 1/4" holes in the top of my air cleaner and after having it plated with 24 carat gold I hot glued in diamonds from behind. Unfortunately it was stolen before I had a chance to take any pictures.

A little bling never hurt anyone, just my fingers every now and then keeping it up! But I wouldn't have it any other way! IMG_20141207_115418.jpeg

Dont need lots of shiny stuff to have a good looking engine. Just a little works fine. cars4.jpg%20001-20121115-201436.jpeg GetAttachmentCAAZ59JV-20121115-201450.jpeg

Beauty is in the eye of the one who has the control so there are several threads on show me your This n' That that would be a great time consumer to picking a level of Show n' Go that wets your bling whistle...

To some striking a balance is fluid and natural while to others its an adventure in Hummin and Hawwin.

I inherited a pretty good balance that suits me...and that is fortunate...

All depends on how its packaged. What I can't stand are fake things though. Those fake stack air cleaners and chrome crap on hoses. Rubber is black, you can't chrome rubber... Don't get me started on colored wire loom either.

Hmmm...24 carat gold with 18 diamonds, wonder why someone would steal it?

  28. This is still one of my favorites. I don't know the owner but it is in a '40 Coupe. Clean as a pin.
