I get them downloaded and on file ahead of time. And after a few thousand photos posted it is second nature to post them here. It's so funny half the time I get one thread done and move to the second to post them them get a message like "you must wait at least 10 seconds or 15 second before posting again" I'm faster than the HAMB standards allow, the computer thinks I'm flooding the system LOL

That is one of my favorite paint combos. Black with Silver coves. The Red interior is a good contrast to the Black paint but the Silver interior looks better to me.......

Jason I can attest that Jim's 56 is a strong runner. He ran 12s at the Pie Crust event when the A/G were running 12s due to the lack of traction. He also had traction issues and the wheel hop ended his day. I had asked him if he was going to make the Meltdown and he told me he did not think so. Now I know he was a headliner at the Bunker Hill event and wanted to make sure he made that event ( a guess on my part). His car according to him is a 301 and it is the best running 301 Vette I have seen run since the 60s. Sure brings back good memories.

^^ Love that photo, LB. This is the sort of shot I love seeing. I lived in a small Chicago suburb as a
kid and six of us guys managed to somehow all buy early 'vettes at around the same time. How I'd
love to have some simple Instamatic shots of each one.

My friend Richie Silva's old 62 Corvette , with 4 inch blocks in the front. That was his girlfriend (now wife) sitting on the quarter. The car is gone, but she and Richie and Andrea are still together today.

This 65 Corvette showed up at our club cookout today. Never got a chance to talk to the owner, but was told that he had owned the car for a long time, road raced it back in the sixties and seventies, and than life got in the way, and he just put the car away. This past year he decided to start using it again as a street driven car, and has been seen a some local cruise nights and car shows. Nice to see another "survivor " out on the streets. I heard it when he drove off today and the motor sounded real strong too. Nice .

Similar to a 62 we had in town in New Albany, In. Black with red interior. He ran with his hood on and it was cutout perfectly for the crossram quads
