We rode up to Yaki Flats yesterday and spent a couple of hours at the Vintiques NW nationals checking out the rides. As it was Friday the fair grounds weren't that full but my knees didn't want a long afternoon of it anyhow. Here are some shots of the rides that hopefully pass here on the HAMB
Slick little blue roadster in the inside display of one of the shops in the PNW. Our own Rockets Hot rod Garage had a few cars on display out of his shop and is celebrating ten years in business.
A few more including some of the swap meet area. I was afraid to ask the prices on the bikes and the 52/53 Chevy truck doors came off an old hop truck (hops as in what flavors beer) that had belonged to a hop ranch belonging to a farming family that has farmed in this area since the 1890's. The speedster was just cool.
Drove my dad’s ‘46 convertible down and spent the weekend. I hadn’t been since about 2006, but we all had a great time. My kids enjoyed being bugged by the guy with the monkey puppet.
I was there. It was a good show. You ended up taking a pic of my deuce sedan. This year it wasn’t as hot as it has been in the past. The cooler temps made it much nicer.
A few I took. I didn't get out much. The last couple are the fridge truck I recently picked up and it's loads from the show.
