Technical Axle identification

Hey guys wondering if someone can help Id this axle. One is model A not sure of the other.

Rusty one is a '32 the other looks like a '37 / '40

 

Thanks Pete, I thought the rusty one might be 32 but have never personally seen one out of a car.

 

Model A and '32 are both 50-1/2" kingpin center to center.

 

Not just any 32 , looks 32 Heavy !

There is no such thing as a non-heavy 32 axle. If a 32 has a skinny axle, it's a replacement from a 33-36.

 

Got it , I have wondered about that . I have several 32 axle’s as well as 33-34 axles . I guess I have fallen into the calling it a Heavy Axle group. But what you say makes sense to me . I have 32s with both styles of axles in them . I don’t know much about 35 and up axles but can spot a 32 .

One other question, would a 32 column/box and wheel have much value?

 

The outer column with a notch cut is not worth much, and the box might be worth something but probably only to a restorer.
