Hot Rods Tired of homogenized hotrods

Beautiful! I'd like to see the bead line from the body/hood move out onto the nose and curve down near the front, But I'm not a sheetmetal guy.

 

@Tim thanks...is Jimmy a Hamber? I like to mention them. The logo in the video is quite familiar as I've seen it before. A wee bit over the top but I like it. Great video work to. A great deal of these videos are very well done.

 

We had a beautiful and complete 1932 Plymouth roadster of our farm in Texas. As a kid I played in it and as I grew older and my brother got us into hot rods I planned on getting it running. One day I got home from school and found that may dad had spent the day cutting it into scrap along with a '40 Dodge and a '41 Ford pickup. Times were tough.

 

That scenario was one played out many times. Life was different that's for sure. This still happens though in some of those wrecking yard/private estate dissolvings...

 

I have a great appreciation for these construction shots...the design possibilities are many, however the extension was not to be but yeah maybe a photoshop adventure down the road....

The final product was very polished. Did you check the the link out...underneath the metalwork is just as impressive.

 

No he is not, the place that makes the videos just buys and sells old cars. He completed this one probably 3 or 4 years ago.

Looked nuts with the blower on it, show rod for sure. I’ll have to dig around and see if I can find any shots of it with the huffer on it

 

It may be posted back in this thread...I can remember one in particular...Update no it wasn't...

Spring ahead of axle, don't know what's going on around the steering arm. No front brakes, engine either setback or in rear. Channeled and sectioned. It's a wild altered correct.

This thread is always at the top for me. Great rides and not homogenized gets my vote.

 

Ok, I gotta know, what is it?

 

Quite obviously NOT a "Roadster" since none were produced in '33 and body styling features of this build even suggests otherwise.
Not to mention that other than the body, nothing else, including chassis, running gear, suspension, steering, etc seem to have anything to do with an early Plymouth

 

looks like FIBERGLASS to me...
