I run late model Ford Ranger wheels and old Buick hubcaps with 205-70-15 radials. Aerostar springs with a coil cut and 3" blocks. It sits low but rides bad...gonna put uncut Aero coils in.

Still trying to see the similarity.. Congrats!
Neat cars, you're going to enjoy it. When you posted your intent to pass, I retraced my steps in a nearby MD town. There was one for sale a week prior. Gone.

And I haven't got a chance to work on it yet:(. Trying to everything get else done, retired leaves even less time to do what I want to do:confused:.

  16. A little:rolleyes:? Lights started flashing to include dash lights:eek:. You can hear the circuit breaker clicking away under the dash. toy can hear sparks jumping from the trunk where the wire loom goes up into the roof channel:confused:. Battery is unhooked and sitting in the garage till I get caught up.

  17. My '59 under-dash looked similar but with lamp cord and plastic wire nuts. Took a deep breath and ripped it all out, went with a new harness.

  18. Where this is heading too. Just debating whether to buy a new one or make it myself.

  19. The American Auto Wire is not the cheapest but I have used most on the market and I'm sold on this one.

It's so easy a cavemen can do it! :D HRP

  20. The Moose, Hamb's resident Photoshopper did his normal magic and added the cool 5 spokes, They really transform the look of the car.

A big thumbs up brother! :) HRP

Everything looks good with 5 spokes, but those Halibrands sure would have looked good on your '32.

How about Rebel Wire? They're HAMB vendors and good people. I used one of their harness' on a '51 Ford F1 a few years ago and it was $185 to my door. As an electrician I know quality stuff and Rebel Wire knocks it out of the park.

  24. Are they 6 Volt compatible? Mine is 6 Volt and works good so I want to keep it.

I'm sure they are but suggest contacting Rebel wire directly.

  26. The look I'm going for. Moose has added the side trim and for now I have a vision of the look I want, as to color I will work on that in the future, for now it will remain white while I do the patch panels. HRP

If they are lower in front, they are NOT TO HAVE SKIRTS ,spots, or a VISOR ( its a law of the sixties ) other than that carry on...[IMG]

  28. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, No visor nor fender skirts, no Appleton spotlights or fuzzy dice for me just a simple hot rod. HRP

Yep, side trim definitely a must. Breaks up the monochromatic look and makes the car look longer other then stubby.

I generally don't like skirts and I like rakes, but I'm OK with that blue car for some reason. I think it's got something to do with the "close to stock" look. I'd drop the rear a little before I'd take off the skirts.
