    From Yesterday:
    Speed Week Pre-Trip Update #3

Today was our last day on the Salt. Course 1 was finished being groomed. So now we have 4 COURSES! All groomed & ready to go! The Salt is simply FANTASTIC!!

Also worth mentioning, the ramp at the end of the road is like a freeway onramp!!

Thanks to the entire crew for a JOB WELL DONE!

Also thanks to Intrepid Mining Co. for their continued pumping efforts. It helps!!

That's all for now! Start packing!

    SEE YA ON THE SALT!

Looks like I start a project in SLC in July. Year long so I should make 2 events on company dime.

  7. I'll be coming back. Sunrise on the salt, nothing like it. :)

    Some Out Takes
I only have room for 28 images, so it is very difficult to choose,, but I will post some of the out-takes that almost made it.

Just go!! jeez I have gone there from New Zealand before with NO BOOKINGS. There is always somewhere to stay and eat. Talk to people , spare beds always materialize...You only sleep for a few hours anyway...I have even slept on an air bed in the back of my pickup in the KOA.... it's safe enough there and if you are there on the right night, m there is always a chance that you will be invited to Chilli and margaritas with the Bean Bandits.

There will/should be the Inliners at the KOA for grub, be sure to pay.
Don't know if HOPUP will have their 100mph banquet
Montana Dodge Boys always have something up their sleves
At the KOA, they ask that you pay a little to cover for showers and pool if you slide in with your buddies.

  19. If anyone plans to stay into the week, we found that the room rates dropped as racers and other attendees headed home after the weekend busy-ness. If you don't have a room on Saturday or Sunday, stick around because they do come available.

I'm going. I always camp, there is always plenty of room for those that have not been there before. Bring a tent or camper and enjoy!

Sun screen, hat, binoculars, spoting scope, camera, you could stay in salt lake and drive out.
