I like the color contrast on these. Some folks like to see a totally chrome/aluminum engine, but I think that good contrast looks better. It's just coincidence that these all happen to be variations of gold. It wouldn't make any difference what the base color was.

I'm not criticizing those who like the chrome/aluminum look; just saying I like this better. In the 40 something pages of this thread there have been many with good/great contrast. The gold/gray one below just inspired me to write something. Please post a pic when it's finished and installed.

Here's mine. I really admire the guys that deck out engines like hemis, nailheads, and flatheads with lots of bling. It's a whole lot more affordable for SBC. IMG_1079.JPG IMG_1080.JPG

I like this engine as well. Anyone have any idea what color gray that is, like if it's a rattle can color?[IMG]

    Just got my chrome today!
Found four OEM 54' Dodge Stromberg Bendix WW carbs never had fuel in them at Hershey.
Like them because they had the smallest butterflies I could find. Let's face it...full time duel quads, didn't want to over carburete. 0804181324.jpeg
