Headed to my 55th year High School reunion this afternoon. The guy I sold my '38 coupe to will be there. I'll try again to get some pictures from him.

@anthony myrick I was going to say that look is leaning 70s. The racer above is 1965 so this is why I am hesitant to discount those as not Hamb friendly and will not even though not a look I care for. I was 5 years old in 65 so my knowledge of what floats here then is based on visual feel sometimes and assuming is never a reliable option.

The traditional look accepted here was certainly rapidly changing by then and I understand why the period cut off is 65.

I do however like a version @flynbrian48 posted in a thread on Werksman he started some time ago which features a heavily influenced tribute built with Cotton influence it seems. Do check out the thread and I believe the Cotton Hotrod has appeared here as well some time ago.

Hey @flynbrian48 do you have a closeup of the Info/Show card accompanying the Werksman inspired above?

Another angle at a better resolution...and yeah it's different...Studebaker's were wild to begin with...
I'll never understand why disc brakes on such light vehicles when there is so much effort taken to look the vintage part...

  15. yep, the era that car was built is in that grey area here
a late 60s build, but if someone built a car similar to that here, folks would droll all over it
the cool part is I found the pics looking for ideas for our caddy. I like the front set up
Im with you on the discs on light weight cars, I prefer the drum look.
folks use discs cause they are easier

@loudbang just posted this Custom/Hotrod and there is a lot going on here...I believe this is a 36 with 40 front sheetmetal and yes wild pipes, way low profile with a chop to boot...cool...very cool.

I like it. It's a hot rod and therefore not finished. Those are some long rear wishbones and evidently with the stepped frame he didn't nee to split the front ones. It's more practical to have the radiator shell sit a little high than to use the bottom of it to grade the road.
