Projects 1931 ford truck.... an awakening

    I thought I would get back on here and share a build I’ve been working on for the last 10 years. I think it’s time to get it on the street.
    Dad and I built the chassis. 1948 ford Flathead v8, open drive banjo with 9”gears, and 3 speed open dr tranny. Dropped axle, dropped front xmember, a little z in the back. 40 ford steering box And 2 1/2” haircut

  18. That's No Bueno, that thing will eventually fall out. you just need the slip yoke with an inch or so of in and out movement. With that set up th slip joint on the shaft will eventually collapse in puling out the yoke from the trans.

    Other than that, That truck rules!!!
