Start it up and go for a drive...looks like a good candidate for something like Hamber Hitchhikers Hotrod Pickup.

Reminds me of something from the Beverley hillbillies, but it’s still cool. Plans are to get it running, and fix the brakes.

Toss the fenders and hood. Put in a blown Hemi.

Too much money, for not enough power.

I don’t need a lot of power, just enough to keep the truck rolling along.

Barn Find. Probably built around World War 2 when people built trucks out of everything.

Anyone have any suggestions on the rear body panel on this one? I like the way the Tudor bodies look at the roof line, but to me the bottom rear of the cab never looks right. This is not going to be a show truck, it’s going to retain the whole barn find feel, but it is going to be a good driver.

You could make some simple filler panels to fill the gap, but I think it looks fine.

I am anal, so I'd morph the body line on the back, to sweep into the one on the door.

I thought about the body lines, and I agree that it would look better to have the rear body line morph into the door line. I have seen some of these truck conversions that really look good.

  13. I like it as is! I'd take it to get an ice cream? Nice Chevy by the way. I have one too!

  14. It looks to be nicer than most of the conversions I have seen in the past, the body line where it meets the door could use a little metal work and I would bet 99% of the people wouldn't know the difference, regardless what you do it is a cool truck. HRP
