These tools came from the tool chest of a retired car/truck mechanic from the Philadelphia area. He used them while inspecting cars as a licensed PA car inspector. I’m told the PA inspection is rigorous and thorough, and the tools were used in the bi-annual car inspections. Overall, all tools are in good condition, and no tools have owners marks. The items listed below are included in the sale: —Ammco 8500 micrometer; this is probably familiar to many on the H.A.M.B. It is used to check internal drum diameter and check for out of round. These are quite pricey when new. —K-D 2112; Disc Brake Rotor Inspection Gauge. —K-D 233; Ball Joint Inspection Gauge. Note: It appears to be missing the base; one could probably be made, but unfortunately, I don’t have the one that originally came with the tool. —Barrett B-242 Brake Drum-Check-R; used to check drum brake diameter. —K-D 2115 Disc Brake Lining Gauge —K-D 276 Brake Lining Gauge Measuring Tool. Unfortunately, I don’t have any more information than what is provided. I’d prefer to sell as a complete package.
