IMO, this car doesn't do anything for me. paint has some issues, looks out of proportion, ill built. it took 6 yrs to drive this down the street? maybe it's just the whitewalls. don't get mad Mikey, just my thoughts. plenty other people will love it

oh well. the customer loves it. yes the paint has issues, we didnt paint it, the painter that did refuses to adress the paint problems and the owner chose the painter. i dont see how you think it is "ill built". it too six years due to budgeting and the painter having the car for over 2 years. We recommended black wall tires but the customer wanted white wall.

i will have to make a note to never do any work for you in the future lol

Nice work...always enjoy your craftsmanship @cornfieldcustoms. The issues that remain will get ironed out. Awesome looking Hotrod. I sure as heck would be happy to be cruising around in it...tires and all.

Your work speaks volumes to positive side. Maybe he is just super jealous of you. I really like how you built that frame solid, solid ,solid. Amazing metal work. You obviously take pride and have a special talent.

As nice as this car is , the owner drives the snot out of it too! Saw it at speedweeek and it was always covered in salt spray . I met the cornfield customs guys and they were some of the nicest , most knowledgeable accommodating fellows around. Thanks for spending the time answering some of my questions.

Great build, some lovely detail touches....

  28. I just found this thread, and I thought I might bump it to let everyone know this killer car got featured in Ol Skool Rodz this year. I shot it for the magazine at Speed Week 2019, and it was published earlier this year. It was so cool to shoot and you couldn't get a cooler back drop then the salt flats. Thought you'd all enjoy some of the shots from it!
