Please, anyone have any info (history, pics...) of this hot rod Ford AV8 1931. Until 2008 it was in Michigan. The last person who owned for short time was "Mecutem" here on the Hamb. Had an accident was disassembled and body went in Europe. Thanks
Try putting that it was a Michigan HAMB car in the subject line of your post. That might draw the attention from the right people
I'm from Michigan, Detroit area but I don't know the car. I will say this, you may not be having luck with it here because it's, well, kind of street roddy. The tilt steering column, the "inexpensive" tire store wheels, the valve covers etc. are not the typical HAMB car. I will show some pics to some of the folks I know around here. If I find anything out I will let you know.
Thanks, I realize that it was not the typical Hamb car. Mine is just curiosity. Now is completely changed. Of that car I used only the body, now : voilà....
yes, I have many photos. I'll try to upload some. I'm not a professional, I did everything myself and in my country it's all difficult... nobody can help me here... I tried.....
Your car turned out real nice,it looks cool in the last photo.Neat background. Just travelled through Italy and not to many rods on the road over your way, congrats.
In Italy there are few rods in different country. Some really nice and traditional. In the past could be counted on the fingers, now more.... I know many of the owners, All friendly... Here is a kind a new frontier, pioneers.... Everything is more difficult, expensive and we have restrictive laws.... but it's funny.....
After some years of start of this thread I try again... please anyone recognize, know the story or remember this rod? It was in Michigan before 2008...
