I'm on my way to my 55th year High School reunion right now and am getting a kick out of this old couple. :)

  7. I think this old photo was dated 1968...

Or maybe it was taken 2 days ago.

2017 Lions Dragstrip Museum in the Jack Chrisman Corner The 29 sedan in all its glory.

    Hello,

Here are some color photos I took at last year's grand opening of the Price Transfer, Lions Dragstrip Museum main floor. There was a Jack Chrisman Display with items from the early history, to the championship in the 60s, to the Twin Bear, and the Comet. It was a timeline of So Cal drag racing history.

The only thing missing from this Chrisman Corner was the Sidewinder racecar, but Jack Gillett’s Version was looking good, sitting outside, participating in the Cacklefest.

For those that missed the Sidewinder with Jack Chrisman driving in real time back in those early days, here is a movie with actual Sidewinder sound from 1959.

I like to strap on the front a thick piece of wood and push the hot rod racers out on the track

and my first car (actually a 30 Model A pickup) turned into a roadster with partner Jim Mackey. We registered it as a trailer and flat-towed it to Colton and Fontana. Mackey & Kitchen.jpg
