Even the biggest hater of glas cars would have a tough time to say anything negative about one built completely at home that looked this good , glas cars that look right and hotrods that look spot on with a glass body always get a pass with most pro-steel types

It's when people get lazy and you can tell it's a glas car from across the parking lot is when most the grumbling occurs

Lots of good looking glas hotrods across the pond , because that's all they can afford...
Personally I'd rather have a glas car than no car!

My uncle builds frame rails for a living so about 15 years ago they built a new A style frame for it.

If the steel decklid ends up on it, the only glass will be the quarter panels, above and below the decklid, and the floor haha at this point its almost a steel car

Are those by any chance aluminum Canadian heads on your engine? I'm with everyone else when it comes to your glass car. I think it's great that you have so much original work in it. Beats a "Goldchainers" Brookville any time in my book.

Good guess, was it the giveaway car in the back ground that gave it away?

Cool build! Hell of a stout chassis for a Flathead!

Tim, my grandpa built this frame in the early 70's with what he had laying around. Super thick walls on all the square tubing and everything was stick welded. It may not be as pretty as a lot of the chassis being turned out here on the hamb but its sentimental value makes up for it in my book. I figure all the weight I save with the glass quarter panels and floor I'll make up with the heavy frame

What I meant to say was,

I need a frame that sturdy because you're looking at the nastiest flathead this side of the Mississippi
