Oh my gosh, a Studebaker Lark at the Melt Down. HOT ROD DELUXE never said anything
about that. What's the car hobby coming to? Wait, it's a '32 Lark...everything's okay.

It was for me too. They tried to bill me for $50 this year. I said no.

Now that I remember this, I took a peek over at Magazines dot com through my Ebates and I can get a year for about $23 after the 42% cash back.

Be careful if you subscribe and use a credit card. They will re up your subscription at $49.97 three months before it's up and will keep your money for 3 weeks after you tell them there is a mistake (fraud). The Enthusiasts Network sucks.

I had a different experience with them. Going back at least three or four years ago I received notice that my subs (both HR and HRD) would automatically be renewed unless I opted out of that plan. They were very open about notifying me and it was simple to go online and remove my name from that list.

Not sure what you all are looking at for subscriptions but the price is and has been $39.95/year for 6 issues. It is not sold in stores unless they changed their policy. Don't get this mixed up with Hot Rod which is a totally different publication.

  15. Hot Rod Deluxe is sold in stores, at least around here. I know Barnes & Noble has it, pretty sure other stores have it.
When it started you could ONLY get it in stores. It took a while before they offered subscriptions.

    Not available in stores?

Just read through the latest issue at the Supermarket so I didn’t have to buy it. (There was a blurb about the HAMB Referring to people as “hambsters” (he he)

Then I bought a tube of pringles chips, 4 Lindt chocolate bars and a box of coffee for my daily caffeine/salt/sugar orgy to get nice and amped before I work with dangerous power tools that could maim me....

Oregon too. I always read from to cover the same day I get a mag, then have to wait:(. So I had 4/5 subs on hot rods, plus racing and home project mags. Now I get my fix here, :D
