  2. Funny thing, I saw you post on the HAMB the other day, and shared your car with my mentor! You're not too far from me, I'm up in the Santa Barbara area! Goal for mine is decent chop, fully fendered, and to be just a cruiser. It's been a slow build as I'm a full time college student, and my main income comes from shooting weddings.
So far, I got a spare frame, juice brakes for the front, an 8 inch rear end with the right gearing, 40 rear spring, and some odds and ends. Just takes time!!
I'm always in the Hunnington/ Burbank area. I'll have to give you a shout next time I'm in the area so we can meet, and possibly do a photoshoot!

Sounds like a plan. The Historical Society of Long Beach is having an exhibit on car clubs and cruising in Long Beach, my club has veen around dince 48 so we contributed all the stuff we have. The exhibit opens tomorrow and kicks off with a free car show, you should try to swing by. Text me for info. 310-920-8554

Got the body set back on the frame today. I am excited to have it looking like a car again.

I am beginning the tear down of the interior so I can start sanding and painting.

This should be a relatively quick task because there is absolutely no rust or pitting in the body, just very minor surface rust. A quick once over with the whiz wheel and I should be ready to paint!

And the fun of sand blasting begins...

I spent a full day this weekend wire brushing the interior to prepare it for paint.

And finishing up for the day.

I was back at it the next day to paint the window frame, door jambs and gas tank.
