This is the second generation of my Chopped 56 Mercury Montclair. It was the victim of a hit and run July 2017. I was completely sick about it and turned it over to Isaac Almendarez of Pinnacle Refinish here in Dallas Texas. He asked me if I trusted him. I said yes. That is all that was said. This is the car now. The entire paint concept was all his. I didn't even know what colors he had in mind when he started the repair and new paint.
The '56 looks bitchin' and thanks for the nice selection of pics. It's great to be able to trust someone enough to put the project in their hands without fear or interference.
never been much on green cars/trucks, but a few catch my eye. your merc is one on top of that list, great looking car.

Yes that was me. Season one Episode one. way before they even knew it would get picked up for air. I was sitting in the garage working on THIS merc when everyone started calling and texting saying I was on TV. I was like... no I'm not, I'm at home in my garage! I got stuff to do!

very very nice.just off to watch ep1 s1 of fast n loud I know how it feels to have a hit n run. the wife's new car of 4 days was hit last year whilst she was at work.luckily a new car with easy repair
