HELP! Getting Alerts on stuff I didn't watch/reply to.

All kinds of stuff is showing up in my ALERTS that I haven't even looked at (and some I have no interest in). Not sure what to do?

 

Check your left most pull down menu flag, and click on "Watched Forums".
It should say "you are not currently watching any forums".
You may have been inadvertently subscribed to watching an entire forum.
Thus alerting you anytime there is new activity.
It's been happening with some frequency, lately, by no means anything you did to cause it.
