Projects side pipes on a model A coupe?

This was my plan for my '30 sedan, looks good AND A Y BLOCK! cool. My lake pipes are silver and I was thinking about painting the mufflers and pipes black so they will disappear.

 

I ran side pipes for a while. I bought exhaust pipe from the parts store that had a turn out. It was for a truck application. The mufflers were slide ins from hot sticks. They put them in corvettes and cobras. I tucked them tight to the frame and body. To do this I used two j-bends. To make the transition from the header to the side pipe one j-bend was pie cut then welded back together. A dump tube was placed at the bend to make that go away. They were loud and gave me more than one racing stripe on my leg.

 

^^^^Hard to argue with that!

 

Got'em on my Pie to hide the frame. With a 7 inch chop there was no way I could channel it also lll

 

Do you have a full on side view of that Sport Coupe? I have one and been trying to find the right profile top for it.. thanks for your time..
