Event Coverage Welcome to the 2018 Meltdown Drags

Hey Brian-

Tech will be setting up right about 9 am on Friday. The plan is to have tech from 9 am until 11 am in the staging lanes and then move it to near the Meltdown tent for after that.

The lanes are much more balanced this year and that should avoid the issue that we had last year, which means it should be equal passes.

 

Hotdog n me got some shit ready for primer tonite. Crites hood was not anymore than sanding the gel coat. The decklid. ( like rest of car) is like makin chicken salad outta chicken shit. This ol girl has seen better days. Meltdown drags or bust!!!

 

Also - just to make sure there is no confusion...tech will be open on Thursday from Noon until 9 pm. We encourage people to get tech done on Thursday.

 

Got ten gallons of C12 fuel today (courtesy of my lovely Wife),pretty much the last of the electrical hooked up,the clutch z-bar and linkage installed and adjusted,and started getting the driver’s side header together,but ran out of time before I had to go meet a guy about a deal for a guitar.

Well we are planning on going to the Meltdown it was iffy but I talked to my boss today and told him I want Thursday Friday and Monday off. He said cool.
Now I have to talk to Ethan’s football coach.
What day is the cruise in at the drive in?

Several md racers were at 41 getting their cars dialed it. The weather was perfect all three days. We got three hits in. Every thing is working as it should. We will take the next ten days to check everything out real good.

I'm not a die hard chevy or mopar fan it's just what I can afford lol those fords are the high dollar side and you spend all that money to make no power lmao

 

I've been busting my butt to get my blower motor together these last few weeks. I have a glass 41 Willys it's more of a driver than anything else. But it seems like we're all thrashing on something for the meltdown.
