Does anyone know how many different sizes of Model A dash Rails there were? Or know of a book that has that info? I would like to be able to ID the different ones I get in the shop. Thanks for any info Jdee I should have kept track over the years, But I oh well.
The process of elimination gives you at least two straight up, being one for open cars and one for closed cars including pickups. I also figure but don't know for sure that the 1928/29 rail will be different to the 1930/31 items. Where it will get tricky is for those Briggs bodies and the like which possibly had additional variations. It is probably a question best asked on the Ford Barn or similar.

Yes Slant window sedans, Vicky and A400 are the same if you set one along side a standard car one they have a wider center area were the center bolt goes I'll dig out some of the ones I have and post some pics later kb
