Projects FREE - Frame center section ID Help?

Have this for someone looking to fix their stock frame. Might be late 40's Ford?

Definitely make a neat trailer.

 

I don't think it's a Ford, but likely from that era.

 

Someone please find a home for this before I cut it up and recycle.

 

I agree with @alchemy. I'd give it a home if you were closer.

 

What are the drums, brakes or bolt circle? That could give a clue as to what it's from.

Front axle spindles welded on. Drums may be 1935-6 as were the wheels which have been saved for rollers.

 

Looks like a Model A drum to me. Not from the same car as the frame.

I think Buick or Olds of the '40's had similar..

 

It looks a lot like a '35 Chev Standard (but the rear crossmember to frame rail braces are somewhat different):

I think it might be 40-41 Plymouth

 

Looks identical to this 1939 Dodge chassis....all of the brackets match....

 

Think we got some winners, Boys. Somebody needs a trailer base?!

 

That would be awesome for an av8.could easily hang pedals, master and tranny mount
