The 28 looked great at the Cheater's Car Show in Milwaukee this weekend. Sporting the new Offy heads and fresh dent repair and painted fenders by Bob Bleed. She's running like a champ and looks great.
Great looking car Shane! What trans did you end up using? And it looked like you kept the stock rear end. Or did you switch something else in there?
Shane can you post some pictures of the leather strap mounts on the under side of the hood? I'm preparing to add straps myself to my '29 sedan and have been doing some brainstorming. -Luke
Nice! You really nailed the stance and top chop. I love how you kept the stock look with paint , but definitely better!
My wife's Grandpa came over to our house for Easter. This is Tony Petrauski of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He is a 96 year old WWII Army Veteran who served in the 11th Armored Division under George S Patton. His tours included Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Belgium. He returned to Wisconsin and his wife after the war to raise 12 children.
I love this car. Gives me great ideas for mine. I originally was going to paint my car solid pewter but now I am going to do a similar paint scheme with dark silver/pewter paint and black fenders when I get ready to do it.
Took home best Hot Rod from the Trouble Shooters Car Club from Milwaukee at the Symco Weekender Got a cool trophy for the mancave and a case of beer
Today I am visiting friends way up north near the Missouri/Arkansas border and the radio station here is advertising Baileigh tools! How cool is that!
