I'll be setting off this Sunday and meeting up with friends at the ferry in Holland.

edward are you driving that car to Pendine? You've got a bit of a drive to the ferry then a lot more driving from the ferry to Pendine. Could be lots of different weather on the trip.

 

Getting on a plane in 7 more sleeps,can't drive from here,
16 hrs on planes sucks but a blokes gotta do what a blokes gotta do.
Looking forward to it and catching up with a few guys we met at the Hayride in 2014.

Maybe next year when the car is proven but it's just been built. I'll be trailering it there. It's over 1000 miles away.

Very clever
Record is much lower than in the Roadster Class
Getting the coupe to 100mph is a challenge .

Time booked off work. Check.
Got tickets. Check.
Waterproofed all our camping gear. Check.
Car seems to still go and stop. Check.

Yeah, we're ready and can't wait to get going. The weather forecast seems favorable this year but it's Wales so it'll probably snow..
Managed to squeeze a 116.9mph run out of it last year to take a class record but I don't expect to top that this year. We'll see.

Oh yes. New car this year with a lot more power. Don't think I will be bothering Russ's record but I'm hoping a 100mph T shirt is in sight.
