Still saying a prayer for Bob every morning. So sorry to hear about the hospice move.

 

Sorry to hear this Bob. I know Hospice will help in easing things at this time, but it's still a bitch. You've been an inspiration to many and will continue to be. I remember the ball we had going to Ca. together and all the shops we visited and people we met. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

 

Brutal lots of love to you Bob. Nothing but great memories

 

Very sad news. I met and spent time talking with Bob in Louisville 3 years ago at our hotel, then at our club swap space in Kalamazoo. Really enjoyed learning about his involvement with the HAMB, as well as the huge amount of miles Bob puts on his cool Chevy! Thoughts.... and prayers, Bob.

 

Known Bob since 1983, had many a good time with him throughout the years. Thinking of you and Maggie at this time. Been through this too many times through the years, cancer sucks....

Hey Bob...remember this one?
You, Tex Smith and I were standing on the balcony overlooking the pool at Motel 6 in Wendover. Ron Ceridono is in the pool just standing there. Tex says "C'mon Ron...we got stuff to do, come out of the pool." Ron says
"I can't! I have this big ass cramp in my foot....can't move"
You and Tex gave him a big ration of shit for eating before going in the pool...said it was the reason for his cramp. The back and forth had me laughing my ass off. I love spending time with you.

 

...sad to hear this news, we need more Bob K's in life...

 

Still hoping he can beat it,did meet him in the HAMB parking at the Turkey run a few years ago.

 

Old friends are the best friends, and you, old buddy, are one of the best.

Bob is one of those people you look forward to being around.

Bob and Maggie stopped by to visit on their trip to Alaska. They were one of the nicest, most genuine couples I’ve ever met. Sorry to hear it’s come to this, but I admire the way Bob approached life.

 

Bob you are a king among men, there is no equal.

 

I used to see Bob every year at Des Moines goodguys show, Salina kkoa show and the HAMB drags . A true hot rodder in every since of the word .

 

I too still say a prayer for him every morning - hope is all we have at the moment .....

Bob, if you get a chance to read this, I want you to know you're one of my greatest role models.

 

Rest easy Bob K have you in my prayers.

 

Bob and I have crossed paths several times over the years. The thing I remember most was his smile and warm greeting. He always greeted me like I was a long lost friend he was happy to see, even though in reality, it would have been a few brief encounters on irregular occasions.

Bob is one of the guys you always hope you will grow up to be.

The next time we meet, my friend, we will both be in a better place. I suspect you will have the accommodations all take care of, just like you did for so many HAMB events.
