This thread has been rolling for 2 1/2 years without to many "bumps in the road", and I always enjoy catching up to see what's been added.
Started by "DaddyRay" ( onekoolkat), and kept alive by Stogy and his seemingly endless supply of cool pictures, if you see something you don't like, scroll on through ( or submit pictures you DO like).
Thanks to Steve and all other contributors.
    Nuff said.

"Tornados CC" rear engine roadster at TROG. An old salt flats body from Cally that "blindowl" picked up. Build by him, Pete, and Brandon from R.I.--- Later numbered " 911 "--- HOT STUFF!! DSCN3899.JPG

I like the old time solutions. On this one the frame has been turned around to take advantage of the rear step up to lower the car and keep the parallel leafs in the front. It looks like the rear end is out back of the frame with maybe a buggy spring setup. 3 Springer?

Mike, Thanks! I am amazed at how many people here can not get their heads around this simple concept. None of this is required reading just move on.

@Deuces he didn't say he didn't like them.

To furthur expand he is asking for a diverse Hotrod Show which for example recently was displayed on the race side of the fence at TROG an the Pendine Sands event.

No bigs...hey this is a somewhat lengthy thread and I really hope you do take a look at it in entirety. There is one wack of a load of interesting history amongst the pages much like so many dotting the landscape here.

It ain't all pretty but that was also conveyed in the opening post.

That is one incredible bit of craftsmanship there and at that incredible Epic Bonneville...@Retson the Racer this is the one correct.
You are fortunate to have the craftsman for a friend and mentor...

I have mentioned this pic/replying problem in the Questions and Suggestions Forum to find a fix that when someone replies you can see the image and not just numbers and letters and some words.

Not bitchen here but when you are replying to a post you can eliminate all the other pics and leave the one you want to show as you edit and adjust the text. Just a heads up. Glad you are enjoying snooping thru the thread as there is a lot of cool stuff to be seen and gleaned.

  22. Oh shoot, I apologize about that! Yes, that's his. Rides smoother at 75MPH than my 2000 Super duty does. I'll definitely have to watch out next time I reply.

One of the definitions of homogenize is "to make uniform or similar". This thread is an alternative to hot rods that are similar in style or appearance. "Dare to be different" if you will....

That’s what I’m saying! it just seems a little ambiguous..,are we talking about True hot rods old or new parts on a hot rod or what??? I’m so confused...

If every '32 roadster was a black highboy with a flathead and painted wheels with small caps and beauty rings it would be traditional and period correct but it might feel like the whole deal was homogenized too much of the same, even though it's right. :( The idea here is to show some that are right but not the same. Different just to be different isn't it either. If no one ever did it before it's probably wrong, but who am I to judge? I'll just look and quickly look away if it hurts.
